Overview
The VKL11-EV series comprises residual current circuit breakers designed for Mode 3 electric vehicle charging installations. VKL11A-EV provides instantaneous Type A EV protection for standard wall boxes and charging stations, while VKL11F-EV adds mixed-frequency residual-current detection and short-time-delayed operation. Both versions detect sinusoidal AC and pulsating DC residual currents and switch off at a maximum smooth DC threshold of 6 mA. The range covers rated currents from 16 A to 100 A in 2P and 4P configurations. Suitable overload and short-circuit protection must be installed separately.
