Introduction to VIOX TC Terminal Block Series

The VIOX TC Terminal Block series represents our premium heavy current terminal solution, engineered to provide exceptional performance in high-power electrical distribution systems. These robust terminal blocks feature a closed and integrated structure with plate-type screw crimping connection bases, designed specifically to handle substantial current loads while maintaining operational reliability and installation simplicity.

Manufactured by VIOX Electric, a leader in low-voltage electrical components, the TC Terminal Block series is the result of extensive research and development aimed at meeting the demanding requirements of industrial power distribution applications. With rated voltage capabilities of 600V and current capacities ranging from 60A to 600A, these terminal blocks deliver the performance needed for critical power connections in industrial environments.

Superior Design and Construction

VIOX TC Terminal Blocks adopt an advanced closed and integrated structural design that provides superior stability and connection reliability. The plate-type screw crimping connection base ensures optimal electrical contact while minimizing resistance at connection points – a critical factor in heavy current applications where heat generation and energy efficiency are paramount concerns.

The thoughtful design of the TC series allows for simple construction and convenient installation, significantly reducing labor time and complexity during panel assembly. When used with OT and UT type terminals, these blocks provide even greater connection firmness and reliability, making them ideal for applications where vibration or thermal cycling might compromise lesser connection systems.

Each terminal block in the TC series comes equipped with protective dust caps and clear PVC markings, enhancing both operational safety and system maintenance efficiency. Installation flexibility is further improved by the ability to perforate the base plate for direct mounting, accommodating diverse panel configurations and space constraints.

Installation and Safety Considerations

VIOX TC Terminal Blocks are designed with installer safety and convenience in mind. The terminal design facilitates secure cable termination while minimizing the risk of improper connections. The clearly marked terminal points and protective covers reduce the likelihood of accidental contact with live parts during maintenance activities.

For optimal performance and safety, VIOX Electric recommends:

Using appropriate torque settings when securing conductor connections
Ensuring proper stripping lengths for all conductors
Verifying that conductor sizes match the terminal’s rated capacity
Installing terminals in environments protected from excessive moisture or corrosive atmospheres
Performing regular visual inspections of connections as part of preventative maintenance
