Introduction to ST Terminal Block Series

VIOX ST series rail-mounted terminal blocks represent the pinnacle of connection technology in the low-voltage electrical industry. Engineered with innovative spring-cage clamping technology, these terminal blocks deliver exceptional performance in a compact design that prioritizes both space efficiency and superior wire connection reliability.

The ST terminal block series has been meticulously designed to meet the demanding requirements of modern electrical installations across diverse applications, from industrial automation to building infrastructure. Each ST terminal block adheres to international standards including IEC/EN60947 and UL1059, ensuring global compliance and compatibility with various electrical systems worldwide.

Advanced Spring-Cage Technology and Key Benefits

The core technology behind VIOX ST terminal blocks is the spring-cage clamping mechanism, which offers significant advantages over traditional screw-type connections:

Vibration-Resistant Connections: The spring-cage design maintains constant pressure on conductors, making these terminal blocks ideal for applications subject to vibration or mechanical stress.
Maintenance-Free Operation: Once installed, ST terminal blocks require virtually no maintenance, eliminating the need for periodic re-tightening that screw terminals often demand.
Faster Installation: The tool-actuated spring-cage mechanism allows for quick wire insertion and release, significantly reducing installation time compared to conventional terminal blocks.
Consistent Connection Quality: The precisely calibrated spring pressure ensures optimal contact force regardless of operator skill, eliminating variability in connection quality.
Space-Saving Design: The compact form factor maximizes space utilization in control cabinets and electrical panels.

Applications and Industries

VIOX ST terminal blocks excel in a wide range of applications across multiple industries:

Industrial Automation: Perfect for control panels and machinery where reliable connections are critical
Railway Systems: Vibration-resistant design ensures signal integrity in railway applications
Building Management: Ideal for HVAC, lighting control, and building automation systems
Marine and Shipbuilding: Corrosion-resistant materials suitable for marine environments
Renewable Energy: Reliable performance in solar inverters and wind power control systems
Heavy Equipment: Maintains connection integrity even in high-vibration environments
