Which VIOX RCCB series should I start with?

Start with VKL11 for Type AC, A or ASi requirements, VKL11F for Type F mixed-frequency loads, VKL11B for Type B or B+ smooth-DC detection, and VKL11-EV for the declared Mode 3 EV charging configurations. Final selection must follow the connected equipment, system design and applicable rules.

No. An RCCB provides residual-current protection and must be coordinated with the required MCB, fuse or other overcurrent protective device. Use an RCBO where combined residual-current and overcurrent protection is required in one device.

Does VKL11-EV include 6mA smooth-DC detection?

The published VKL11-EV catalog states that the A-EV and F-EV variants incorporate smooth-DC residual-current detection and switch off at a maximum 6mA threshold.
