The VIOX VRL22B is a Type B residual current circuit breaker with overcurrent protection for AC 50/60 Hz installations. It combines residual-current, overload and short-circuit protection and detects sinusoidal AC, pulsating DC and smooth DC residual currents. Type B covers residual-current frequencies up to 1 kHz, while the Type B+ variant extends detection up to 20 kHz. The 2P and 4P configurations are intended for applications incorporating frequency converters, photovoltaic and UPS systems, medical equipment, elevator controllers, trace-heating systems and variable-speed machinery.
