- দুপুরের রোদের দিকে ফটোসেল মুখ করে রাখবেন না। যদি কোনও ভবনের দক্ষিণ দিকে ইনস্টল করা থাকে, তাহলে ফটোসেলটি পূর্ব বা পশ্চিম দিকে মুখ করে রাখুন অথবা মাটির দিকে তাক করুন। সবচেয়ে ভালো দিক হল উত্তর।
- ফটোসেলের দিকে এমনভাবে মুখ করবেন না যেখানে এটি কৃত্রিম আলো দেখতে পায়, যেমন জানালা, সাইনবোর্ড বা রাস্তার আলো থেকে, কারণ এর ফলে ফটো কন্ট্রোল চালু হবে না।
