The Wireless Gas Automatic Fire Suppression Device (Independent Type) represents a breakthrough in fire safety technology, delivering autonomous fire protection for electrical cabinets, distribution boxes, and network equipment. This standalone automatic fire extinguishing system requires no external communication infrastructure, making it the ideal solution for facilities seeking reliable, self-contained fire suppression that operates independently of building management systems.

Product Overview

The Independent Type wireless gas automatic fire suppression device is a fully autonomous fire protection system designed specifically for enclosed electrical environments. Unlike networked alternatives, this self-contained unit operates completely independently, requiring no RS485 connections or 4G communication modules. The device integrates advanced aerosol fire extinguishing technology with intelligent detection capabilities, providing comprehensive protection against electrical fires in confined spaces where traditional fire suppression systems prove ineffective.

This independent fire suppression system combines multiple detection methods—heat-sensitive wire monitoring, smoke detection, remote activation, and manual emergency buttons—to ensure rapid response to fire hazards. The compact design allows seamless installation within electrical enclosures without compromising equipment functionality or accessibility.

Key Features & Benefits

Standalone Operation

The Independent Type model operates autonomously without requiring integration into building control systems. This self-contained approach eliminates communication dependencies, reducing installation complexity and potential points of failure. The device maintains full operational capability even when isolated from external networks or control centers.

Flexible Installation Options

Installation versatility stands as a primary advantage of this model. The device supports both magnetic mounting and screw-fixed installation, accommodating various cabinet materials and configurations. This flexibility enables rapid deployment across diverse electrical infrastructure without specialized mounting hardware.

Multiple Trigger Mechanisms

Fire detection reliability comes from redundant activation methods:

Heat-Sensitive Wire: Continuous temperature monitoring along the entire 1.5-meter sensing cable detects thermal anomalies throughout the protected space
Smoke Detection: Integrated smoke sensors identify early-stage fires before visible flames appear
Manual Activation: Emergency push-button provides immediate fire suppression capability
Remote Start: Optional external trigger interface for integration with existing alarm systems

Compact Design Options

The Independent Type offers multiple size configurations to match specific protection requirements:

0.05G/S Model: 93×67×47mm (50g±2g agent) protecting up to 0.5m³
0.1G/S Model: 185×67×47mm (100g±2g agent) protecting up to 1m³
0.2G/S Model: 306×67×47mm (200g±2g agent) protecting up to 2m³
0.3G/S Model: 306×67×47mm (300g±2g agent) protecting up to 3m³

Maintenance-Free Operation

Once installed, the device requires no routine maintenance during its effective service life. The aerosol extinguishing agent maintains full effectiveness for 10 years, eliminating the periodic recharging requirements associated with traditional fire extinguishers.

Environmental Durability

The device withstands extreme temperature variations and high humidity conditions, ensuring reliable operation across diverse climates and installation environments. The wide operating temperature range (-40°C to +70°C) accommodates both outdoor electrical cabinets and temperature-controlled indoor facilities.

How It Works

Detection Phase

The independent fire suppression system continuously monitors the protected enclosure through its heat-sensitive wire and smoke detection sensors. The thermal sensing cable runs in a serpentine pattern throughout the cabinet interior, creating comprehensive coverage without dead zones. When any point along the wire exceeds the preset temperature threshold, or when smoke concentration reaches trigger levels, the device initiates its activation sequence.

Activation Process

Upon detecting fire conditions, the system executes a rapid but controlled response:

Fire sensors confirm hazardous conditions
Internal logic verifies trigger authenticity
Audio-visual alarms activate (if configured)
Ignition sequence begins after ≤0.5-second delay
Aerosol agent discharges in ≤14 seconds

Suppression Mechanism

The aerosol fire extinguishing technology deploys a fine particle suspension that rapidly fills the protected volume. These microscopic particles interrupt the combustion chain reaction while cooling surrounding surfaces. The agent remains suspended in the enclosure, preventing re-ignition while gradually settling without leaving corrosive residues or damaging sensitive electronics.

Applications

Electrical Distribution Cabinets

Power distribution equipment faces constant fire risk from overheating connections, arcing faults, and insulation failures. The Independent Type device provides localized protection that responds faster than room-wide systems, containing fires before they spread beyond the cabinet.

Network Equipment Enclosures

Data center cabinets and telecommunications equipment housings contain high-value electronics vulnerable to both fire and traditional water-based suppression methods. This clean agent system protects critical infrastructure without causing secondary damage to servers, switches, and storage systems.

Industrial Control Panels

Manufacturing facilities rely on electrical control cabinets that operate in challenging environments with dust, temperature fluctuations, and vibration. The independent operation model thrives in these conditions, maintaining fire protection capability regardless of external system status.

Transformer Rooms and Substations

Electrical substations often feature multiple enclosed equipment spaces requiring individual fire protection. The Independent Type’s autonomous operation eliminates complex wiring between protection zones while providing reliable coverage for each critical asset.

Installation & Maintenance

Installation Guidelines

Position the device on the interior sidewall of the electrical cabinet, preferably in the lower section for optimal agent distribution. Ensure the nozzle faces toward the protected equipment with minimum 500mm clearance from obstacles. Route the heat-sensitive wire in a serpentine pattern covering all potential ignition sources, paying particular attention to high-current connections and transformer areas.

The magnetic mounting option enables tool-free installation on steel cabinets, while the screw-fixed method accommodates non-ferrous enclosures. Verify the nozzle protection cap remains sealed until the device enters service to preserve agent integrity.

Maintenance Requirements

The Independent Type requires minimal ongoing attention. Monthly visual inspections should confirm:

Nozzle protection cap remains intact
No physical damage to device housing
Heat-sensitive wire routing remains secure
Manual activation button remains accessible

No agent recharging, pressure testing, or component replacement is necessary during the 10-year service life unless the device activates. After discharge, the modular design allows simple replacement of the extinguishing canister while retaining the detection and control components.

Safety Features

Continuous Power Protection

The device maintains critical functionality even during power interruptions. After mains power loss, the internal power reserve sustains operation for at least 10 seconds, sufficient time to complete fire suppression if thermal conditions already met trigger thresholds.

Temperature Management

Intelligent thermal design ensures the device shell never exceeds safe touch temperatures (≤75°C) during operation, while the nozzle maintains safe distance temperature limits (≤200°C at 5mm, ≤75°C at 400mm) to prevent secondary ignition risks or personnel injury.

Environmental Protection

The aerosol extinguishing agent contains no ozone-depleting substances, halon compounds, or environmentally harmful chemicals. After deployment, the agent dissipates naturally without requiring specialized cleanup or ventilation procedures beyond normal room air exchange.

Why Choose This Model

Simplicity and Reliability

The Independent Type eliminates communication infrastructure requirements, reducing installation costs and complexity. Without network dependencies, the device maintains full operational capability regardless of building system status, power outages affecting communication equipment, or control room accessibility during emergencies.

Rapid Deployment
