Its robust design and reliable performance make it suitable for both commercial and industrial environments, including armored cables (single wire armor cable ‘W’, wire braid cable ‘X’, tape armor cable ‘Z’), elastomer and plastic insulated cables, and particularly for cables with a lead inner sheath. The gland can be used in Ex e & Ex t environments and in Ex d devices when used with a putty compound.
